Decorative temple with Buddha statues covered in gold plate, thought to be hundreds of years old.
330 Thep Krasatti, Thalang District, Phuket 83110
Often named among Phuket’s oldest temple sites, this Thalang complex carries layers of rebuilding and memory. Local lore ties it to the era when the island resisted Burmese forces, and to the heroines whose story still appears in schoolbooks and parades. The grounds mix timeworn corners with newer halls, mosaic-bright reliefs beside soot-darkened niches. People come to make merits for ancestors, to touch the cool stone of old stupas, and to ask for resilient luck in work and family. Walking slowly here feels like reading a long chapter where the island turns its own pages.
