This neighborhood temple blends sea breeze and monastery rhythm.
Q8G4+WM8, Rawai, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83100
A few minutes inland from Nai Harn Beach and the mirror-calm lake, this neighborhood temple blends sea breeze and monastery rhythm. The site began life as a small hermitage in 1993 when Rawai residents set aside land for a place of practice and community rites. In 2017 the present complex took shape, and later that year the ordination hall received its official wisungkhamsima boundary. You will often hear steady Pali chanting from the sermon hall, see families lay lotus flowers at Buddha images for health and safe travel, and meet locals who stop in after the market to pay merits.
