Wat Chalong

Phuket’s most revered temple honours two famed abbots, Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang, remembered for healing and calming the island during the tin-mining era. The tall Grand Pagoda enshrines a Buddha bone relic said to have come from Sri Lanka, and its walls glow with murals of the Buddha’s life.
